TACPHAN® is produced in a casting process using cellulosetriacetate and plasticizers. Caused by the method of production, the material shows almost no orientation. Depending on the application, additives, pigmentes or dyestuffs can be added. Additional, functional coatings can be applied under cleanroom conditions. Therefore our films can be adapted to our customers‘ demands and are useable for many different applications. The film can be made with either a glossy or a matt surface, depending on the surface of the casting belt. A film matt on both sides may be produced by laminating two films each having a single matt side.
- Range of thickness: 0.050 - 0.190 mm
- Very low shrinkage
- Good flatness
- Low birefringence, high optical quality
- Various defined surface structures (possible on both sides)
- Almost free from gels and other optical defects
